THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT GALWAY ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Galway 4.02 Favori De Champdou (15/8)
Brings a lot of potential to the table having won a bumper at Thurles at the third attempt; sure to improve now tackling hurdles and could be a cut above these despite the lengthy absence; yard going great guns too.
The vibes are right for FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU and I’m hopeful he can make a winning return here on debut over hurdles. He stayed on well to win that bumper at Thurles over two miles and stepping up significantly in trip here now jumping obstacles I think we could see him to best effect. The absence is a bit of a concern but I know they think a fair bit of this son of Saddler Maker. Chinx Of Light shaped with promise when second at Punchestown and could also improve but I think the selection could be a class apart. Barbary Master has experience but ran poorly at Cork and has enough to prove. I think the weakness of the opposition is what makes the selection a really strong play here.

Wexford 1.25 Rodaniche (2/1)
Caught the eye running on well despite making plenty of mistakes when second at Listowel on hurdles debut; front pair came 15 lengths clear from the rest; sure to improve and if he jumps slicker here he should win this.
With Gordon Elliott firing in the winners I think RODANICHE will be tough to beat at Wexford on Sunday. He ran really well when second to Skippin Court at Listowel last month and if he puts in a cleaner round he should be too good for these. Chiricahua fell at the last in the same race the selection came second in. He is a danger if bouncing back but his confidence may well have been knocked from that and he had made a few mistakes prior to that so doesn’t entirely convince. Fancy A Cosmo has experience on side so has to be respected but again I think the fav will improve past him. He is definitely the one I fear most though. The rest look much of a muchness so this is definitely winnable.
