NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 8 AT GULFSTREAM PARK!

Race 8 Gulfstream Park 8.59 Reservenotattained (1/1)

Useful type who rattled off a hat-trick at the start of the year and held his form well in defeat since; only went down narrowly last time and this easier so comfortably looks the one to beat in this field; big chance.

The likeable RESERVENOTATTAINED finished in front of main market rival Life In Shambles when the pair finished second and third over track and trip in August. The selection has since chased home Mister Luigi in a good race here over 6 and a half last time and if he builds on that again he should be too good for these. Life In Shambles has finished second since that run at this level and remains in good form but has enough to find for me. Paladio ran well on penultimate start but didn’t really back that up last time when bumped in the run. If he bounces back to his best he could be involved with those chasing home the favourite. All Around will strip fitter but also needs to find more.

Race 8 Mahoning Valley 9.02 L C Zero (11/8)

Improving filly who caught the eye running a big race on debut before stepping forward to beat Mobil Chic over C&D last month; can better that form too and scope to progress so obvious chance of taking this out.

Sticking with the promising L C ZERO at Mahoning tonight. This filly is improving fast judging by the way she hit the line here last month. She almost certainly has more to come and I think connections have found a good opportunity for her to follow up and make it 2 wins from just 3 starts. She should push forward and the others might always be playing catch up. Not A Wild Brat is the danger having gone down a nose over track and trip last time. If she can build on that I’d fancy her to chase home the favourite. Mobil Chic was second to the selection last time and then bolted up by nearly 12 lengths up to a mile last time. She has strongly franked the form and won’t be far away either.
