NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT CHARLES TOWN ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

Race 4 Charles Town 1.25 Grace Elizabeth (11/10)

Tough mare who showed a great attitude to get on top at the finish over 6 and a half furlongs here last month, beating a few of these; won 2 of her last 4 now and this no tougher so obvious chance of following up.

It’s a bit of a wait for the US NAP tonight but fingers crossed we are on to a winner as GRACE ELIZABETH looks to follow up at Charles Town. She impressed last time and she certainly doesn’t mind getting into a fight. If she manages to get upside and eyeball them again this evening she should get the better of the argument. She holds main market rival Coach Rube on that last run and I don’t see the latter reversing that form. Azzurra has been mixing it in stronger company than this but that last run was really disappointing so she’s going to need to show more to spring an upset here. Dubai Was Lit has each way claims but was also behind the selection last time so looks strictly held on that.

Race 6 Delta Downs 9.15 Sucre (13/8)

Likeable mare who comes here at the top of her game having brought up the hat-trick over a mile here last month, making virtually all; hard to beat if in the same form again as holds main market rival on penultimate run.

The winning machine that is SUCRE should take all the beating at Delta Downs again tonight. She won at a higher level than this last time and on her penultimate start she had main market rival Madison’s Place readily held in second. A reproduction of either of those runs should suffice and she is by far and away the most likely winner in my book. Madison’s Place has run again since and finished second again so remains in form. Prior to those two efforts she had also won her last 3 so hard to knock for consistency. Seven Jewels won by a nose last time and has to be feared on that too but doesn’t always back up efforts. Staythirstymyamigo also has to enter the reckoning on her return.
