NAP – Best selection of the evening
Fairyhouse 2.50 Thedevilscoachman (6/4)
Quickly reached a decent level over hurdles winning three times and a lot to like about his chase debut when third to Ferny Hollow at Punchestown; will improve from that and very much the one to beat here.
We head over to Ireland on Sunday for both of our best bets and I’m really keen on THEDEVILSCOACHMAN opening his account over fences. He was only beaten 6 and a quarter lengths by Ferny Hollow at Punchestown and that is very sound form. He just jumped a bit novicey that day and is sure to improve from that experience. There is no Ferny Hollow in this line up and I think he is the most likely winner if he progresses as expected. Saint Sam ran huge when second to Jeff Kidder in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival over hurdles before disappointing at Punchestown. He retains ability now sent chasing and looks the danger but he should come on for the run.

Fairyhouse 1.50 Glenquin Castle (9/4)
Progressive form over both hurdles and fences lately winning his last 7 in a row; impressive again at Punchestown last time and looks the one to beat back over hurdles with the promise of more to come yet.
With Ardhill now out this looks a great chance for the likeable and improving GLENQUIN CASTLE to extend his winning spree. He made it 7 in a row last time and doesn’t look progressing yet. This is no easy task off a mark of 117 over hurdles now but this horse continues to defy the handicapper and he might not be done yet. He’ll be covered up early before looking to pick them off. The only danger for me is if he doesn’t jump well enough which shouldn’t be an issue given how efficient he has looked so far or if Alohamora gets it easy up front. She clocked a career best winning here last time and back over hurdles she is likely to go aggressive off the front. Hopefully the fav swoops late to grab her.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run in Ireland at Fairyhouse on Sunday afternoon.
