THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT TAMPA BAY DOWNS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 8 Tampa Bay Downs 8.48 Nothins Free (6/5)
Tough filly who comes here chasing a hat-trick after winning impressively over 6f here on penultimate start; even more convincing over track and trip last time powering away from them; hard to oppose if in the same form tonight.
Given NOTHINS FREE has won by a combined 17 lengths on her last two starts if she turns up in similar form tonight she should have these rivals cooked again. She is a mare at the top of her game right now and this isn’t a great deal tougher despite going up slightly in grade. She will look to push forward again and if she starts dictating that could be race over before it’s even started. Mizzen Air beat Dr. Ann and Hush Y’all on penultimate start so could be the danger on that form but she faded quite badly when last seen so will need to bounce back to confirm those placings and even then it probably won’t be good enough to peg back this favourite. Of the rest Shackadelic could run into a place late.

Race 2 Delta Downs 7.23 Eternal Endeavour (6/4)
Pulled away to win convincingly over the extended 7f here back in November; beaten twice since but did too much early on next time and then only went down a neck over C&D last month; hard to beat in current form so should go close.
The one to beat looks to be ETERNAL ENDEAVOUR here as she is holding her form really well at present. The way she won 3 starts back was impressive for such a low grade and while she has been beaten twice since she hasn’t done a lot wrong and things could go her way tonight. She will look to be aggressive and get these off the bridle by setting strong fractions. Hopefully she has enough in reserve to hold on at the finish. The most likely danger is probably Super Legs who won 3 starts back as well and hasn’t been disgraced the last twice. She can get quite far back but should be finishing well so it’s just whether the favourite has built up a big enough margin to see it out from the front.
