NAP – Best selection of the evening
Kempton 4.00 Exceling (6/4)
Exceed and Excel filly who had no problem winning over C&D in November, quickening up smartly and hitting the line strong; beaten twice since but denied just a neck last time; races off the same mark and should win this.
This looks a great chance for recent C&D winner EXCELING to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She won impressively over track and trip in November and showed a real liking for this venue. She could never land a blow next time out in a deeper race at Chelmsford but wasn’t beaten far and then bounced back to form denied just a neck at the line at Lingfield last time. Back at this venue off the same mark she is going to take all the beating. Bang On The Bell is lightly raced and could have improvement to come so may well be the danger. Madame Fenella tackles this surface for the first time and could also be capable of a better run so is another one to consider but definitely needs to improve.

Lingfield 1.35 Magical Dias (6/4)
Havana Gold filly who caught the eye finishing a close third on debut and quickly improved going down just a neck at Wolverhampton last month; sets the standard on that and can improve again so hard to oppose.
Income ran well again when second last time but she will need to better that to cope with MAGICAL DIAS here. The latter clocked some decent form when going down just a neck at Wolverhampton last time and with the front pair nicely clear from the rest she is hard to oppose off the back of that. She certainly doesn’t lack speed so coming back another furlong in trip won’t hinder her. She should be spot on for this now and it’s no surprise to see her really strong in the betting. Income is probably the danger but I’m not sure she is all that straightforward. Aphelios is the only debutant in the field for Roger Charlton but the yard are 0-13 with 3yo newcomers in the past year which is worrying.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Lingfield and Kempton on Wednesday.
