THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT GOLDEN GATE FIELDS ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 4 Golden Gate Fields 10.21 Lady’s Sermon (10/11)
Unbeaten filly who created a big impression bolting up on debut here back in the summer; proved that was no fluke making a winning return here last month, showing a good attitude; more to come up in trip.
I know Golden Gate Fields can be quite tough to find a winner at times but I really like the chances of LADY’S SERMON as she bids to make it a perfect 3-3. She won head in chest on debut despite looking a bit clueless and she certainly wasn’t stopping at the line. She followed up on return from 234 days off the track last time and if she handles the step up to a mile I think she’ll remain unbeaten here. This isn’t a bad race by any means but for me she is one to keep firmly on the right side of today and going forward. Sen Sen is probably the danger as the betting is suggesting having only been outgunned late on in a better race than this last time. She can improve after just 5 starts so will make a race of it.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT SANTA ANITA ON FRIDAY
Race 7 Santa Anita 11.38 Classier (13/8)
Promising colt who showed a great attitude to hold on gamely in a Grade 3 at Los Alamitos on penultimate start; excuses up in grade at Del Mar; retains plenty of potential; can make a winning return.
We head to Santa Anita for our second best bet Stateside on Friday and CLASSIER can make a winning return. He needs to leave that Del Mar run well behind but this is obviously much easier and with potential to do better he can prove a cut above these under likely aggressive tactics. With 2 wins from 4 starts Vittorio looks the threat. He did well to win last time but obviously is bumping into a graded horse in the shape of the selection. Spielberg is more exposed compared to the two mentioned above but on his best form he could also have a say. He likes to finish late but the fav may already be home and hosed by then. Wicked Trick and Surfing Star both look up against it.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Golden Gate Fields and Santa Anita on Friday.
