Newcastle 4.00 Resumption (5/4)
Bred to get better with time and experience and looked to relish the step up to this trip winning impressively over C&D last time; not done improving yet and even with an 8lb hike should take all the beating.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure yesterday but the price completely collapsed so it just shows it pays to get on early! We head to Newcastle on the AW on Friday and RESUMPTION is hard to get away from. This good looking chestnut has been turned out fairly quickly for William Haggas and with more to come over this trip an 8lb rise might not be enough to anchor him. He really lengthened well under Danny Tudhope and was firmly in control crossing the line. Given he is by Nathaniel he could have more to come as a 4yo and he gets a confident vote to follow up. Desert Emperor bumped into a thriving Society Red last time and may better that here and emerge as the main danger.

Dundalk 4.45 Adapt To Dan (3/1)
Likeable type who clocked a career best powering clear to win convincingly from a decent yardstick over C&D last week; 9lb rise inevitable but if in the same form should have every chance to follow up; keep on side.
Frustratingly Market Rasen has been abandoned today but the good news if we do have a replacement NB for you this evening. It now runs over on the AW in Ireland and ADAPT TO DAN looks set to follow up for Mark Fahey. He was an impressive winner over track and trip last week and a repeat of that here under a 9lb rise should be good enough to see these off. The second Fox Leicester is certainly no mug so it really was quite impressive for the grade. The danger is probably Riliya who won over track and trip last month and was a good second over C&D to Harbanaker last time and has a few of these held on that form. Take My Hand also makes some appeal from an each way point of view.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Newcastle and Dundalk on Friday evening.
