Our best bets in America on Monday Evening
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered THREE meetings and picked out our best bets.
US NAP LANDED AGAIN LAST NIGHT SO WE’RE NOW CHASING A HAT-TRICK! Racing on Monday night from Philadelphia, Mahoning Valley and Turf Paradise. Our Daily Double pays 11/2!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Race 9 Philadelphia 9.01 Sevier (11/8)
Tough sort who won eased down last month and now won 4 of his last 6; this easier if anything and if he turns up in that sort of form again he is going to take all the beating; aggressive tactics will be adopted again.
The way SEVIER won over 6f last time was impressive and with the step back up in trip posing no issues he really should bring up the hat-trick tonight. He will push forward and go hard off the front and that should get plenty of these out of their comfort zones. He showed on penultimate start that he finds plenty off the bridle and as hard as they may try to grab him late I don’t see that happening especially given the speed figures he has been clocking recently. They Shot Sonny finished third to the selection last time and may close that gap slightly and be the one to finish second ahead of Kingsville. Of the rest Town Jak also deserves a mention but he is also strictly held by the favourite on recent form.
NB – Second best selection of the day
Race 7 Mahoning Valley 8.33 One Glamorous Gal (7/4)
Promising filly who won 3 times last campaign and caught the eye over C&D last time going down just a length at the line; fitter again and open to further improvement so looks to have found a good chance to go one better.
The unexposed ONE GLAMOROUS GAL looks primed to strike at Mahoning Valley tonight. She has only had 9 starts and has won 3 of them. She was denied just a length over track and trip when last seen in November and with scope to do better again can win this off the front. She has early speed to burn so will get these off the bridle and then it’s just a case of her seeing it out so with added fitness she should find more than enough. Lexy Anna has some solid form in the book but went off the boil last time. If she bounces back dropping in trip it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if she was the one to give the fav most to think about. Nancy’s Leslie was behind the selection last time so also enters calculations.
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Mahoning Valley and Philadelphia on Monday night.
