NAP – Best selection of the evening
Catterick 2.40 It’s Good To Laugh (1/1)
Lacked experience but still managed to make a winning start over hurdles at Perth, dead-heating; followed up impressively at Hexham from a decent yardstick; bumped into a good one at Haydock and form worked out well since.
River Walk is 2-2 having landed a bumper before making a winning start over hurdles at Musselburgh but IT’S GOOD TO LAUGH sets a very good standard and has more to come himself so gets a confident vote to make it 3 wins from 4 starts in this sphere. He was really impressive on penultimate start and lost little in defeat bumping into Barrichello at Haydock last time. Freshened up since he almost certainly has more to offer and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back in the winners enclosure. River Walk is the danger but lacks experience. Paddy The Horse shaped with promise at Carlisle before running out at Newcastle. Still early days so he can do better with time and experience on his back.

Kempton 7.00 Come On Girl (13/8)
Likeable mare who has won over this C&D before; continues to knock on the door going down just half a length last time to an improver; visor goes on and should be hard to beat with plenty in favour again here.
Alablaq proved half a length too strong for COME ON GIRL at Lingfield last time and that horse runs at that venue earlier in the day so hopefully we can win to frank the form. The selection ran right up to form on that occasion and if she matches that sort of run here she will take a bit of beating. The visor could help her and I think she is hard to oppose. Notoriously Risky wasn’t disgraced when fourth at Wolverhampton and it wouldn’t surprise me if she stepped forward to be the danger. Exuding is being nibbled at in the market but she ran poorly beaten 9 lengths last time and needs to bounce back to have a say in the outcome here. She looks opposable on the balance of her form.
