NAP – Best selection of the evening
Naas 1.40 Saint Felicien (1/1)
Exciting sort who made a winning start in France and backed that up on debut for this yard on first start under Rules at Gowran; only going to improve and looks well placed to remain unbeaten here; keep firmly on side.
Despite being a bit uneasy in the betting SAINT FELICIEN made no mistake on debut under Rules at Gowran and looks a really nice horse. He is open to plenty of improvement and can make it a perfect 2-2 here before being targeted at bigger prizes. The danger is probably Whiskey Sour who was a good fifth in a strong race at Fairyhouse and should go well if repeating that sort of form here. Petit Mouchoir isn’t getting any younger and was thrashed on return at Leopardstown. He is going to need to come on plenty from that to get competitive here. Darasso won at Navan before struggling in top company last time so he might be best of the rest as this is easier at least.

Sedgefield 1.30 Anyharminasking (1/1)
Progressive sort who beat Constitution Hill in an Irish point; showed ability under Rules before making a mockery of his opening mark at Catterick winning effortlessly; hiked up 13lb but more to come and should win.
An opening mark of 114 was clearly all wrong for ANYHARMINASKING and he sauntered home to win by 6 and a half lengths at Catterick last time. He is up 13lb but I think that speaks volumes and he should remain ahead of the assessor for now. Gordon’s Jet won here in October last year and backed it up with a good third at Doncaster. He is off an unchanged mark so might be the one to chase the favourite home. Ellaat won twice over hurdles this winter and wasn’t disgraced at Dundalk last time so also has to enter calculations but I’ll be surprised if he can upset the selection. Breakeven won over fences at Galway but this is definitely tougher back over hurdles back from an absence.
