Race 9 Mahoning Valley 9.30 Verified (13/8)
Promising sort who landed back-to-back wins to cap off last season; needed the run on return and that best forgiven; remains open to further improvement and should be hard to beat here if back on track.
We head to Mahoning Valley on Tuesday night for our best bet Stateside and if VERIFIED bounces back he should take an awful lot of beating. The way he won on final start last campaign was impressive and with further progress to come he should take lots of stopping. Overbearing looks the danger as he was only beaten a length when fourth here last month. He has fitness on side and is a fair yardstick so should go well but lacks the potential of the favourite. Silent Tiger is also running well enough to have a say but again might lack that finishing kick against the selection. Empty Talk has won 2 of his last 4 but is exposed compared to a few of these so will need to be at his best.

Race 5 Sunland Park 9.09 Country Club Cutie (7/4)
Useful mare who is lightly raced for her age and has won 2 of her last 4; hacked up over track and trip last time so with further improvement to come should follow up as this no tougher on paper; most likely winner.
I can see COUNTRY CLUB CUTIE going off a short price at Sunland Park on Tuesday night. She is a tough mare who ran out an impressive winner over C&D last month. She is open to improvement given how lightly raced she is and I’m expecting her to take care of these. The danger is probably Red Cloud Express who landed a couple of wins before running a bit flat last time. If she bounces back she could be the danger but has a bit to prove. Trickessy won easily last time and with 2 wins from her last 3 she also has to be respected. Abbie’s Way looked on the up before struggling last time. She finished a tired horse and that was only 9 days ago so may need some more time from that.
Evening Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Mahoning Valley and Sunland Park on Tuesday.
