NAP – Best selection of the evening

Improving with experience and ran his best race to date going down just a head over C&D last month, digging in gamely; more to come for sure and looks to have been found a good opportunity to make the breakthrough now.

Experience should count for plenty here and I’m expecting BIG ACE to get off the mark. He ran a cracker over track and trip last time and with scope for further improvement should get off the mark tonight. He will likely push forward here and if he gets on the rail and into a nice rhythm I don’t see anything managing to get past him late. He clocks some good fractions last time and will be hard to live with early I think. The danger is likely As Thunder Heart who was run down over a mile here last month. He is also on the upgrade but has had more chances than the selection. Play Mo looks the most interesting of the debutants but this is a fairly tough ask first-up especially against the favourite.

Tough and consistent mare who certainly knows where the winning post is with 6 wins from her last 7 starts; freshened up since that third over C&D back in October and looks the one they all have to beat again.

With a remarkable 12 wins from her last 17 starts FREE TO FLY has strong claims of saluting the judge at Gulfstream Park again tonight. She is a talented mare at this level and freshened up since that two-length defeat back in October last year she can put these to the sword. She is versatile so will be steadied at the start but I fancy her to race handily and she should be hitting the line strong. Larimar is the likely danger having missed just a nose on penultimate start. She was well held last time but not beaten far. She should go well but has been on the go a while now. Dem A Wonder also has to enter calculations but actually has a bit to find with Playera who beat her back in November and may do again.
