THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) IS STILL ON A HAT-TRICK! (SCRATCHED LAST NIGHT)
Race 4 Ipswich 5.35 Ask Audrey (5/4)
Talented mare who had no problem bringing up the hat-trick on return at Toowoomba and followed up convincingly at Nanango last time; hard to oppose if she turns up in similar form and comfortably looks the most likely winner.
With 11 wins from 49 starts including 4 from 11 over this trip it is hard to look past ASK AUDREY at Ipswich on Thursday morning. She is a mare at the top of her game and with the 2kg claim to assist with the weight life she should prove hard to beat. The most likely danger is probably Reality who is a nice looking chestnut and he has 2 wins from 7 starts. He did disappoint last time though and has a bit to prove off the back of that. Trip The Light is also open to improvement so is expected to figure but again needs more if she is to get her head back in front. Orsetto just isn’t running well enough to land a blow and Splasher also needs more on what we’ve seen recently to be seriously competitive here.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN THE LUCKY LAST AT KILMORE!
Race 8 Kilmore 6.00 Zoffany Street (2/1)
Good looking chestnut who impressed making the breakthrough at Swan Hill back in the summer; encouraging fourth on final start and open to further improvement now; should have more in the locker yet so worth chancing.
The drop back in trip is a slight concern but I think ZOFFANY STREET has the class to handle it and if he has matured since the summer he could have a bright future ahead. His Swan Hill win was promising and he remains open to further progression. If he steps forward again then quite simply he will be too good for these despite the trip. Montalbano is a decent yardstick but he is exposed in comparison. He only has the 1 win from 10 attempts over the trip so that has to be concerning. Kamo is another horse that is trending the right way but 0/8 over the trip is enough to put me off despite 3 seconds from 8 attempts. Burleigh Boy is also worth a second look but this has strength in depth.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Ipswich and Kilmore in the early hours of Thursday morning.
