Race 6 Delta Downs 9.47 Girls Count (1/1)

Promising filly who improved again to make the breakthrough over a mile here last time; sure to build on that again and hard to beat if handling the drop back in trip here; this much easier so should win again.

We head to Delta Downs on Thursday night for the US NAP and GIRLS COUNT can follow up. She struck over a mile here on a muddy track last time and with further improvement to come I’m confident she can follow up. This represents a drop in class so she should find it easier and is by far and away the most likely winner for me. Takenforgranted looks the danger despite being beaten over 10 lengths into second over track and trip last month. Some of her previous form stacks up so if back to her best she should at least keep the favourite honest. Miss Invader is probably best of the rest as she is very consistent but I’m pretty certain she is vulnerable for win purposes so just a place at best for her.

Race 6 Aqueduct 8.25 Forty Two Ace (7/4)

Smart colt who won head in chest on return last month and backed that up with another impressive win over C&D last time; getting better all the time and while this is tougher again can bring up the hat-trick.

Hard to look past the hat-trick seeking FORTY TWO ACE at Aqueduct on Thursday night. He looks a colt to keep firmly on side having won impressively the last twice and with more to come he can prove the answer once more. He looks a horse with gears and he brings a lot of potential to the table. The danger could be Fenway who impressed on penultimate start before running flat last time. If he bounces back he should chase the selection home. Dr Ardito is quite short and impressed last time but hasn’t been seen for the best part of a year and I wouldn’t have him as short in the betting especially as he has already been gelded. Son Of An Ex is also unexposed so worth another look too.
