OUR US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT GULFSTREAM PARK ON WEDNESDAY!

Race 7 Gulfstream Park 8.11 Smarmy (6/5)

Improving filly who really impressed on penultimate start finding plenty to go clear late over 7f; bumped at the start over shorter here last time but finished well; should relish going back up to a mile; take all the beating.

The drop back in trip wasn’t the best move by connections of SMARMY last time and back up to a mile here I think she’ll be coming home best. She was bumped at the start last time as well so did have excuses before finishing well enough. She has more to come back up in trip and I’ll be disappointed if she can’t get herself back in the winners enclosure before tackling stronger company again. She will be fitter too which is always a plus on dirt. The biggest danger looks to be Our Fantasy who did find Battle Cry too strong on penultimate start but her old form is rock solid and she should go well. The latter also has to be considered but has been well held since. Celestial Cheetah best of the rest.

Race 10 Philadelphia 8.58 Divine Miracle (2/1)

Progressive sort who arrives on a five-timer here and showed a great attitude to prevail last time; unexposed so more to come yet and could extend the winning run again tonight; looks one to keep firmly on side.

We head to Philadelphia for our second best bet Stateside tonight and DIVINE MIRACLE should take a bit of beating as he looks to make it five straight. He ran in a stronger race than this last time and still managed to get his head in front where it mattered on the line. This is a bit easier and under aggressive tactics again he will take plenty of catching. Ruby Bleu is more exposed but he has won 2 of his last 3 so could emerge as the main danger. My Friends Beer was back to winning ways last time and also has to be respected on that form but this does look to have more strength in depth. Skipin On Orchard also won nicely here last month but again this is definitely tougher so he’ll need to find more.
