Our best bets in America on Friday night
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered SEVEN meetings again and picked out our best bets.
LOOKING FORWARD TO STATESIDE ON FRIDAY NIGHT! Racing in America from Tampa, Gulfstream, Aqueduct, Oaklawn, Santa Anita, Golden Gate and Penn National. Daily Double pays 11/2!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Race 7 Aqueduct 9.27 Tamburro’s Sox (11/8)
Promising sort who improved to make the breakthrough over C&D last month, going through the gears to draw clear late; hard to beat on that and should progress again with that initial win under his belt; should have too much.
We head to Aqueduct again for our US NAP on Friday night and TAMBURRO’S SOX looks a good bet to follow up. He had been gradually improving before taking a sizeable step forward to score last time out. He looked well suited by this C&D and with further improvement to come he should be able to follow up. If anything this is easier so it will be disappointing if he doesn’t win. I thought he’d be a shade of odds-on so 11/8 looks generous at the time of writing. Matty’s Marauder could be the danger but he’ll need to leave that last run behind him to land a blow. His penultimate effort was better bumping into Uno. Of the rest Blame It On Brutus could also be a player in terms of a place.
NB – Second best selection of the day
Race 7 Golden Gate Fields 1.00 Dulce Emma (7/4)
Progressive filly who comes here chasing a hat-trick after improving to win over C&D in February and then following up over shorter last time; her turn of foot will pose these an issue again and she is hard to get away from.
Great chance for DULCE EMMA to bring up the hat-trick at Golden Gate on Friday night. She is a filly on the upgrade judging by her last two wins and back up to 6f looks ideal here. She has the most potential in this field to my eye and is likely to go off a well backed favourite come post time. The danger looks to be O’Neill’s Legacy who has 2 wins from 3 starts herself and likely also has a bright future. She did it well last time but this is tougher and I think she’ll find the selection too strong late. Miss Union was behind the favourite last time and won’t be too far away again if running up to that level. Tamara Mine also ties in on that form and so does Viva La Fiesta who looks held.
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Aqueduct and Golden Gate Fields on Friday night.
