Promising mare who was back to her best winning gamely over this C&D last month; fitter again and remains open to further improvement so well placed to follow up; looks sure to go well against these so obvious chance.
With 2 wins from 3 attempts over this trip the likeable COQUILLE can salute the judge again overnight at Ballarat. She was seen to good effect over track and trip following an eye-catching return and she can do better yet. This looks winnable so I expect her to be well backed in the market. Kyokushin made a bright start winning on debut at Kyneton but was found out to some extent when second last at Flemington last time. This is obviously easier so he could emerge as the danger. California Sunset is 0/7 over this trip so that would have to be concerning. Kootara is consistent to some extent and might be challenging for a place. Hot Reward, Changing Tracks and Mandjar all need to find more.

Likeable type who is 2-2 here and looks well placed to bring up the hat-trick now; open to further improvement and building a nice profile now so expected to have too much for these rivals; looks the most likely winner.
From an inside gate FORTYFIVE PARKLANE will likely prove very hard to beat. He is getting better with experience and has impressed winning his last two. He is a perfect 2-2 at this track and is hard to get away from. Cabsav is one of the dangers but he is 0/5 over this trip so will need to find more to trouble this favourite. Miles Ahead won here on penultimate start and could go well but back in trip surely has to count against him? Sailing might be a bit of value to run into the frame as he has 2 wins and 8 places from 17 starts which isn’t a bad record by any means. My Zebrinka is looking exposed but still has to be respected if bringing his best form to the table.
