Race 9 Aqueduct 10.21 Speaker’s Corner (1/1)

Progressive colt who has won 3 of his last 4 and really impressed in a Grade 2 at Gulfstream last month, drawing clear late; not done improving yet and should serve it up to these; likely very hard to beat.

Really looking forward to the racing Stateside tonight and SPEAKER’S CORNER can bring up the hat-trick and stamp himself at the top level. He left rivals standing last time and that was an impressive display. With further improvement likely he should have too much for these rivals. Mind Control has also won 2 of his last 3 and could be one of the dangers. Unlike the selection though he is exposed so will need to produce his best. Green Light Go has impressed the last twice and might have more to come so also looks one of the dangers to the favourite. Bank On Shea is a huge price as he has a good strike rate and is lightly raced but obviously this is a big step up again.

Likeable sort who was back to his best winning impressively enough at Fair Grounds over 6f last month, hitting the line strong; hard to oppose off the back of that and potential for better again so should win this.

We head to Keeneland for our second best bet on Saturday night and NASHVILLE can follow up. He was back to something like his best last month and given he has only actually had the 7 starts there should be further progression to come yet. He will go hard from the gate and with a bit of luck will get these out of their comfort zones one by one. The danger might come from Prevalence who impressed at Gulfstream last time and is open to improvement himself too. Of the rest Manny Was ran quite well when second last time and if he can build on that he might be a bit of value to run into the frame. Sir Alfred James scored by a neck last time with an impressive late burst and is also considered.
