Race 8 Belmont Park 10.01 Love And Love (11/8)

Likeable mare who improved on her reappearance to win convincingly at Aqueduct over a mile last month; hard to oppose off the back of that even with the drop back to 7f not ideal; should be hitting the line best.

Looking to get back on track Stateside and LOVE AND LOVE catches the eye at Belmont Park on Friday night. She stayed on strongly to win by 3 lengths on reappearance and with that under her belt and with potential for more to come should be able to follow up. Shesalittle Edgy should put good pace to the race and that should suit the selection who will look to stalk and pounce late. Customerexperience looks the danger as she has won 2 of her last 4 and wasn’t disgraced last time. Betsy Blue was behind Royal Meghan last time but her previous form was progressive so if she bounces back she has a squeak. This is a good race but if the selection builds on that last run she should have enough.

Race 7 Gulfstream Park 9.17 Con On The Run (13/8)

Progressive colt who had no problem bringing up a hat-trick of wins at Santa Anita when last seen in February; open to further improvement and this easier so should have too much for these rivals; hard to oppose.

We head to Gulfstream Park tonight for our second best bet Stateside and CON ON THE RUN can bring up a four-timer. He is improving all the time and was much the best again at Santa Anita. This is actually easier and freshened up he should take care of this field. Paco’s Pico won on penultimate start and ran well in defeat last time so has to be a player in here. I think he’ll be the one chasing home the selection. Mitico has a similar profile to the latter so will likely be fighting it out for a place as well. El Profe is unexposed and has won 2 of his last 3 so can’t be entirely dismissed but this is quite competitive and it has strength in depth so he’ll need more to come out on top.
