OUR US NAP IS DUE A WINNER AND RUNS IN RACE 3 AT GOLDEN GATE FIELDS TONIGHT!

Race 3 Golden Gate Fields 9.50 Chief Wild Eagle (6/5)

Improving with experience and showed a good attitude to dig in bravely and prevail by a length over a similar trip here last month; open to further improvement tackling turf now and looks the most likely winner.

The US NAP was poor last night so apologies for that. I saw I got a lot of abuse on Twitter because it went off 1/3 and ran a stinker. We tipped it at 4/5 and don’t have control over the price so bear that in mind. Hopefully I can get the ship back sailing in the right direction tonight and we head to Golden Gate Fields where CHIEF WILD EAGLE can win again. He impressed last time and with scope for further progression now on turf he should be hitting the line best of all. Brookys Tapit looks the biggest danger to me as his form is very consistent. If the fav improves he is likely up against it though. Affectionto Autism is held by the latter but also has to be respected on the balance of his form.

Race 8 Woodbine 10.13 Hall Of Dreams (5/4)

Likeable type who knocked on the door twice as a 2yo and made a really encouraging return going down less than a length at Gulfstream last month; capable of better and found the right race now down in trip.

This looks a great chance for HALL OF DREAMS to make the breakthrough. He has only had the 3 runs and has shown promise on every start. He went down narrowly on reappearance at Gulfstream and with natural improvement from that should take a lot of stopping here. The danger could be Uncle Joe who has a similar profile to the selection. He is going back up in trip after a solid comeback but might just need a bit more in the closing stages to cope with the selection. Commander Joe showed ability on debut when fourth over 5f here and with more to come he might be the other one trying to have a say at the death. Hard to see much else managing to land a blow to be honest.
