Race 6 Will Rogers Downs 9.28 Juliard Honor (4/6)

Speedy mare who wasn’t disgraced last time in a better race than this; should go forward and will likely prove hard to reel in if back to her best; most likely winner as proven at a better level so should have too much.

It isn’t the best evening Stateside and sadly the US NAP is a short price tonight as we look to get back on track. If you want more value then we advise backing the DD. JULIARD HONOR has won 3 of her last 7 and while she hasn’t really been at her best the last twice those efforts have come in much stronger contests than this. She will push forward and look to make all under aggressive tactics. Gp’s Amazing Grace won well last time at this level but she might be bumping into one in the shape of the selection. Of the rest Dabblin Channel hasn’t been performing badly and might shape better than her odds are suggesting at least. Hard to see much else managing to land a blow.

Race 6 Tampa Bay Downs 7.55 Morgan Point (6/4)

Unexposed sort who has won 2 of his last 5 and ran fairly well in a much stronger event than this over track and trip when last seen; lots of pace on so should get a nice toe in and likely to be finishing best of all.

We head to Tampa Bay Downs where MORGAN POINT should prove a tough nut to crack in the closing stages. He won when last seen at this level and remains open to further improvement given he is still just a 3yo. My Man Vito looks the threat as he bolted up last time albeit in lesser company. Just Plain Ornery has won 2 of his last 3 but is one of the pace angles and there should be a burn up which could ultimately leave him vulnerable in the closing stages. Tap First won nicely here last time but this has more strength in depth and he also still needs to prove himself over a furlong extra here. Not sure much else is worth mentioning as I’m really keen on the favourite landing this contest.
