Race 4 Will Rogers Downs 8.28 Sexy Socks (7/4)

Promising filly who has won 2 of her last 3 and was firmly in control at the finish over track and trip last time; can improve again and if she does she should have all these in trouble; most likely winner.

The progressive SEXY SOCKS can make it 3 wins from her last 4 starts at Will Rogers Downs on Wednesday night. She won by over 5 lengths last time and is clearly a cut above this level. Hunny Hush shaped with promise on return beaten a length and a half and if she builds on that she looks most likely to give the favourite something to think about. Daisy Fiftyseven is still fairly unexposed so is also worth a second look as she showed a good attitude in defeat when runner-up on reappearance and again if stepping forward will likely be fighting it out to finish second to the selection. Quick Calisia looks held by the latter but ran well last time so is also worth a squeak bu fav should be too good.

Race 6 Thistledown 8.20 Lionistic (2/1)

Likeable type who has won 2 of her last 3 and she comes out top on her best speed figures so should prove a tough nut to crack tonight; should win this if reproducing her best recent form; keep on side.

With just the 6 horses heading to post LIONISTIC looks to have a great opportunity to chalk up another win. She has really impressed lately and looks to bring the most potential to the table of these. She might still have more to come and gets a confident vote to salute the judge once more. Christmas was a good second to a nice horse in Candlelight Hours last time so is the danger on that form. Like the selection also looks on the up so definitely the main danger to the favourite. Starlit Secret is strictly held by the latter on that recent piece of form so will need more to get involved. Attitude has been consistent but this looks tough enough on first run back and will likely come on for it.
