MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT WOODBINE ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 3 Woodbine 10.51 Strega (13/8)

Progressive filly who won head in chest on final start last year, setting the pace throughout before readily drawing clear in the closing stages; open to further improvement and should make a winning return.

Tips are back Stateside on Friday night ahead of a big weekend and I’m heading to Woodbine for my best bet. STREGA won by nearly 7 lengths on her final start as a 2yo and she looks the type to step forward plenty having been given time to strengthen up further. She will go forward here and might always be bossing them. Strictly on the clock they will all be playing catch-up. Silent Ghost disappointed a bit on return when only fourth over 6f here but if she strips fitter from that up in trip now she might be the one to chase the selection home at a price. My Girl Sky lacked a gear change on return last month but again that was just her fourth start so if she improves she might not be too far away either.

Race 6 Golden Gate Fields 12.30 Trojan Clubhouse (3/1)

Promising filly who showed a great attitude to make it four in a row on her first start on turf here last time; won 5 of her last 6 now including 4 on this surface; can keep improving and looks the one to beat again.

Winning machine TROJAN CLUBHOUSE can salute the judge again at Golden Gate Fields on Friday night. She is a filly going places judging by her recent winning spree and she has an attitude to die for. I thought she was going to get claimed on turf last time but she just kept digging deep and who knows where the ceiling to her ability is. She is back on synthetic surface tonight where she has won 4 of her last 5 and I’m confident she is the one to beat. Creative Romance found Imperial Creed too strong last time but I think she can reverse that form here and emerge as the main danger. Gettin Sideways wasn’t beaten far by the favourite when they met on turf so is another one who is in the mix.
