NAP – Best selection of the evening

Royal Ascot 3.40 Bay Bridge (11/10) Advised at 11/8 as my NAP of the meeting earlier in the week

Smart colt who continued his gradual progression to win impressively on return in the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown; will keep improving and looks a Group 1 winner in waiting; highlighted as my NAP of the entire week.

I’ve been waiting to see BAY BRIDGE again following that Sandown romp and while this won’t be easy I’m confident he can pass the test with flying colours. He is clearly progressing fast now and I love the way Stoute has brought him along for this. He has won 2 of the last 4 renewals so clearly knows what it takes to win this race. The yard are flying having won the Derby and there looks to be plenty of momentum behind this New Bay colt. Shahryar is intriguing after winning the Sheema Classic at Meydan and will be the danger if taking to this track. State Of Rest travelled well into the race in the Tattersalls Gold Cup last time but I just think the fav will have too many gears late on.

NAP

Royal Ascot 3.40 Bay Bridge (11/10)

Royal Ascot 5.35 Little Big Bear (9/4)

Promising colt who was nailed on the line over 6f by Tough Talk at the Curragh on debut; that horse beaten by stablemate Blackbeard since and that form has substance; relished step back to minimum latest; more to come.

I can see LITTLE BIG BEAR being all the rage for this come post time. This No Nay Never colt was beaten just a short head on debut by Tough Talk over 6f and that horse has form that ties in closely with stablemate Blackbeard who has advertised that form here yesterday. He then stepped back to 5f at Naas and relished that test, asserting in good style close home. He has the best form on offer and clocked a very smart time figure so is difficult to get away from. Chipotle managed to win from a low draw last year so that doesn’t concern me too much and I think he is comfortably the best of these. At a massive price STAR OF LADY M is worth a saver. She impressed last time and can still do better.

Daily Double

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit.
