MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT BELMONT PARK ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 3 Belmont Park 7.03 Growth Capital (2/1)

Promising colt who caught the eye going down just half a length at Gulfstream on debut back in February; improved to finish runner-up again at Keeneland back in April and closed up well late; hard to beat with more to come.

Great chance for GROWTH CAPITAL to make the breakthrough. He has run two really promising races and this is easier than that last assignment where he was given enough to do. He remains open to further progress and I can see this setting up perfectly for him. Fort Ticonderoga showed potential finishing second on debut and could be the main danger if building on that now tackling turf for the first time. Smoke And Heat has gone down narrowly both starts to date and is another one that has to be considered if stepping forward again. Most Wanted Man showed a bit when third on debut and could also come into his own but might need more time and experience.

Race 9 Gulfstream Park 11.59 Sequin Lady (11/4)

Progressive filly who impressed winning here on dirt last year and returned with an encouraging run over 5f battling on well towards the line only beaten a length and a half; sure to improve so hard to beat in this field.

We head to Gulfstream Park for our second best bet Stateside tonight and SEQUIN LADY can get herself back in the winners enclosure. She is building a nice profile now and was a very good second on return. She will strip fitter from that and with natural improvement should be going close. Bunnynotbeast was poor when last seen but her form before that had looked on an upward curve so she could easily emerge as the main danger if bouncing back from that last run (which also came on dirt). Strategy Queen has won both starts on this surface but has been held since on dirt and turf. If she can bounce back she is another one that deserves a second look in here.
