Monday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all EIGHT meetings and picked out my best bets.
US NAP LANDED LAST NIGHT! A busy night in America to start a new week with action from Thistledown, Phily, Fort Erie, Finger Lakes, Indiana, Louisiana and much more. My Daily Double pays 9/2!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Race 8 Philadelphia 9.14 Chub Wagon (11/10)
Progressive mare who has won 10 of her 11 starts to date; showed a great attitude to prevail on final start in a much better race than this; tackles turf for the first time now but goes well fresh and should win this.
The US NAP was back in the winners enclosure last night so hopefully we can follow up on Monday. We head to Philadelphia where CHUB WAGON can make a winning return. She was a winning machine last season and capped it off with a win in a $200K event here. She drops back in trip for turf debut but doesn’t lack speed and should get out and have too many gears for them. Hey Mamaluke is the danger as she had been in great form before blowing out somewhat the last twice. She is better than what she showed there so if bouncing back could go close but will likely find this favourite too strong. Empress Deona potentially best of the rest but hard to see her springing an upset.
Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 I Am The Cash Man (6/4)
Improving with experience and won 2 of his last 3 now; mightily impressive over track and trip last month powering clear to win by a country mile; more to come so hard to oppose; should have these covered.
Great chance for I AM THE CASH MAN to make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. He couldn’t have won any easier last time and this isn’t any tougher so I really don’t see how he isn’t long odds-on to be honest. He pushed forward last time and never looked in any trouble whatsoever. The Revenge is the likely danger. He finished in front of Cut The Cord last time and a similar run like that would probably see him chase home the favourite. Orb In The Tower is a decent yardstick and he only went down narrowly on return. If he builds on that he is likely comfortably best of the rest. Quite a good race but the selection just looks a cut above. One to follow tonight and possibly going forward as well.
I’ve covered every race across all EIGHT meetings in America on Monday night.
