Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered FOUR meetings and picked out my best bets.

US NAP LANDED LAST NIGHT! Quality over quantity tonight in America. Racing from Thistledown, Saratoga, Woodbine and Del Mar. My Daily Double pays 9/1!

NAP – Best selection of the evening

Likeable colt who is on the improve judging by that last run where he was beaten just half a length at Santa Anita; can progress again going up to a mile for the first time and if he does he should be winning this.

I can see HERO STATUS making the breakthrough at Del Mar tonight. This colt continued his race-by-race progression to get within half a length of victory at Santa Anita last time. He has more to come for sure especially going up to a mile now and looks the most likely winner in this field. Go Joe Won is expected to put good pace to the race and that will help the selection as he wouldn’t want it to turn tactical. Palagio beat Go Joe Won when second by just a nose last time. He has more to come too so looks the most obvious danger to the favourite. Donner Lake went down narrowly on reappearance and is another one that has a future but this is tougher so he might be best watched for now.

Race 4 Del Mar 11.30 Hero Status (6/4)

Race 9 Saratoga 10.39 Atone (3/1)

Ran out a stylish winner at Aqueduct towards the end of last year and held his form well in defeat since again going close in a Grade 3 here last month; hard to beat if repeating that sort of form here so big chance.

I’m liking the chances of ATONE at Saratoga tonight. He has been mixing it with some of the best horses around this season and given the fact he went down just a length in a Grade 1 3 starts back he should have what it takes to win this. He again ran well in graded company last time and dropping down into calmer waters I think he’ll have too much for these. Floriform has form that ties in with Emaraaty and I don’t expect that pair to be too far away. They are most likely to give the selection something to think about. Big Everest is on a hat-trick and remains unexposed but this is quite a big step up so while he is promising he might also need more to win a race of this quality.
