Race 3 Royal Randwick 3.55 Kordia (1/1)
Smart type who has won three of his five starts; wide gate his undoing last time, just too much ground to make up; fitter now and 1-1 over this trip so sure to appreciate the extra yardage and rates the one to beat.
Looking forward to seeing KORDIA out again for James Cummings. This likeable gelding won impressively from off the pace at Rosehill before getting beat by the draw at the same venue last time. Out of a handy gate in 3 here he looks to have a major shout of getting back in the winners enclosure and continuing his upward progression. Definitely one to keep on the right side of! Noble Boy is the closest in the betting and should go well but for forecast options I’d much prefer Man Of Peace.

Race 2 Belmont 5.56 Panzdown (11/10)
Unbeaten gelding who made the perfect start winning on debut over track and trip last month; raced keenly too so good effort to comfortably come out on top; exciting prospect going forward and should make it 2-2 with a minimum of fuss.
Another smart horse here not just for today but going forward too. PANZDOWN made a big impression on debut and can go right on with it now. He is open to tons of improvement and should take care of these. Clairvoyance also made a winning start here and looks the live danger. I’ll be surprised if she’s good enough to topple the favourite though. Could run well without being good enough. Looks between the front pair as Starfield Impact has experience on side but has something to find for me.
