Improving as his stamina is drawn out and has impressed winning at Gold Coast the last twice; open to further improvement and well placed to complete the hat-trick here.

With the promise of more to come over this trip GALIFIANAKIS gets a confident vote to come out on top at Ipswich on Thursday. He has really come into his own in recent starts and looks well placed again to salute the judge. Readily Availabull got his head back in front at Doomben last time and if building on that will be the biggest danger to the favourite. Snatch has won 2 from 11 and has been running well enough to have a squeak but needs to improve to spring an upset here. Guts ‘N’ Glory is a little more exposed and needs to get back to his best to be a serious danger. The rest have plenty to prove and look up against it.

Race 6 Albury 6.15 Tap ‘N’ Run (best price 7/4)

Likeable type who got his head back in front at Kembla Grange back in November; beaten 3 times since but very much back to form last time; hard to oppose if building on that.

With 4 wins to his name already TAP ‘N’ RUN should be hard to get away from here. He won nicely at Kembla Grange back in November and has held his form pretty well since going close at Goulburn last time. With more to offer up in trip he should have this field covered now especially with it cutting up with 6 non runners and counting. Azaly finished last at Flemington but then at least bounced back to finish fourth at Moonee Valley. If managing to build on that again he could emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Scarlet Prince has actually won 5 times already but seems to have gone off the boil a bit in recent starts.
