NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS OVER IN IRELAND ON SATURDAY!
Fairyhouse 2.50 Port Stanley (11/10)
Tough ask on chase debut but ran with credit when third to Easywork; not so good when filling the same position behind the exciting Energumene next start; best run to date denied a length last time; more to come and big chance here.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure on Friday and we’ll be looking to put a run of winners together now. We head over to Ireland on Saturday afternoon and PORT STANLEY looks a standout in the Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse. He looks a nice chaser in the making and that run last time when beaten just a length by Front View looks good enough to win this. Thatsy was below form when fifth in the same race last time but is better than that. No surprise if he emerges as the danger to the selection. Alfa Mix is still open to improvement and also has to be respected. There looks to be a lot of pace on here and that should play into the selections strengths.

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT KEMPTON ON SATURDAY!
Kempton 4.15 Global Acclaim (7/4)
Acclamation filly who made a hugely promising start winning on debut over 6f here 45 days ago, keeping on strongly in the closing stages; has to concede 7lb all round but she will improve up a furlong in trip so should be hard to beat.
It’s hard to get away from GLOBAL ACCLAIM here for Clive Cox. This filly made the perfect start winning here on debut and she looks a nice filly in the making. I think she’s good enough to concede weight all round off the back of that performance. The extra yardage will play to her strengths given how strongly she hit the line that last day. Petalite is by Kingman and she’ll improve from her debut effort where she finished third to Princess Layan. She was slowly away too so will know more now. Looks the danger. Elegant Queen was green on debut and should also be a bit more streetwise now with that initial effort under her belt. I’ll be interested to see how she runs with an eye to the future.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Fairyhouse and Kempton on Saturday as we look to get the double back firing!
