THE AUSSIE NAP HAS NOW WON FOUR DAYS ON THE TROT! IN SEARCH OF A FIVE-TIMER ON SATURDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Randwick 5.00 Masked Crusader (4/5)
Exciting sort who has won two of his first three races; needed the experience on debut but improved with every start since winning despite breaking slowly and racing keenly at Caulfield and then following up at Bendigo; fitter now and has tons of potential.
I’ve been waiting to see MASKED CRUSADER again and he’s a confident selection to bring up the hat-trick at Randwick. He still didn’t look the finished article when winning at Bendigo last time and he can improve again. If he does he’ll be extremely hard to beat here hence his short price. Mo’s Crown won at Newcastle on his penultimate start and wasn’t disgraced in better company last time. He has a wide draw but should run well and hit the frame. Fingers crossed we can land a NAP five-timer Down Under!

Race 2 Morphettville 3.36 Ecumenical (5/4)
Promising filly who has won three of her first four starts; tracked the speed and picked it up going best over 1200m here in soft ground last time; still learning but has plenty going for her again and should be hard to beat from a low draw.
This looks a good opportunity for ECUMENICAL to land the hat-trick and make it four wins from her five starts. She is getting better all the time and impressed with how she knuckled down to win by a head here still looking green before following up stepped up to 1200m last time. The extra yardage is no problem and she looks the most likely winner. Indictment has only had two runs but shaped well at Flemington last time and appears to be the biggest danger to the selection. Crown Mint will also look to get involved.
