Race 7 Caulfield 6.25 Sikorsky (11/10)
Progressive sort who caught the eye running a big race chasing home Jumbo Ozaki here on penultimate start at a big price; improved on that to score at Flemington last time, picking up well; this looks his optimum trip so a strong hope to go in again.
There looks to be more to come from the improving SIKORSKY and he is a confident bet to come out on top in Race 7 at Caulfield on Saturday morning and make it 3-3 over this trip. He is progressing all the time and could be pretty smart. He was an eye-catcher at Caulfield and went one better last time, justifying favouritism. This trip looks to suit him perfectly and it’s going to take a good one to stop him. No Say In It was beaten just a head back from six months off the track and will improve. Should put up the most resistance.

Race 9 Rosehill 7.30 Adelong (6/4)
Promising mare who has won four of her six starts; should relish the strong pace on offer here and likely to just track them through before finishing best; plenty in hand when scoring over track and trip a fortnight ago; obvious chance.
We stick with C&D winner ADELONG for our second best bet Down Under on Saturday morning. She is a very talented mare and she made it four wins from her six starts over track and trip last time and looked to have plenty in hand crossing the line. She is getting up in the weights but you wouldn’t want to take her on yet and she will be fitter now. I think she’ll prove too strong for these. The way the race is likely to pan out is also very much in her favour. Superium is back from an 18-week spell but will be fit from trials.
