Race 6 Belmont 8.20 Inspirational Girl (1/1)
Smart mare who has won six of her seven starts and made it four straight wins in a row over track and trip when last seen in July; scary thing is she can still improve again and should be finishing better than anything here.
The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways on Friday as Mugatoo won well at Newcastle. He took a late walk in the market so more for our money which is always good. We head to Belmont on Saturday morning and the exciting INSPIRATIONAL GIRL looks set to make it 5 in a row for Chris Parnham. She has looked very good and is hard to oppose again. This is a good race so the likelihood is she will need to be at her best but she looks open to further progress so has to be kept safe. Western Pride won her first four starts prior to blowing out last time. Still early days so she could have lots more to come as well so is respected as the main danger.

Race 6 Randwick 6.15 Verry Elleegant (11/8)
Useful mare who has 9 career wins from 21 starts so knows how to get the job done; won two of her last three so clearly thriving right now; will appreciate the step back up to a mile and racing prominently will be hard to peg back.
We head to Randwick for our second best bet of the day on Saturday and VERRY ELLEEGANT looks hard to stop for Chris Waller and James McDonald. She did really well to overcome a wide run to beat her stablemate Star Of The Seas last time and should only improve off the back of that. The extra yardage will suit here and she is very much the one to beat as the market is suggesting. Avilius is a horse I have a lot of time for as well and he should chase the selection home. He has won 11 from 29 starts and has the form to be bang there at the finish. Dreamforce won his last start and looks set to go close too so it’s a competitive race. Favourite is the most likely winner. Betting spot on!
