THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT IPSWICH ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 3 Ipswich 4.28 Shooting Roses (1/1)
Improving filly who showed she is ready to make the breakthrough when second at Doomben on return; got caught wide and probably could have gone closer; fitter now and keeps getting better so obvious chance.
The Aussie NAP won again overnight as Srini did it well at Rockhampton despite taking a bit of a walk in the market. We head to Ipswich overnight as we look to land a NAP hat-trick and SHOOTING ROSES looks well placed to make the breakthrough. She has early speed and from a low gate should push forward and look to dictate. She ran a cracker last time and will be fitter now so there won’t be any excuses. Kandanga Miss stands out as the obvious threat in the market. She can also go forward but has gate 12 which looks tricky. She may always be playing second fiddle to the favourite but still has to be feared. Daintree Diva can do better in time but looks up against it here.

Race 3 Ascot 6.35 Angelic Miss (6/4)
Promising mare who left her debut run behind when winning at Northam in September; finished strongly for a good second over track and trip before finishing sixth up in distance here last time; should be coming hard late.
I do like Jakestar here and I expect him to be right in the shake-up but I can’t get away from ANGELIC MISS for Chris Parnham. This mare has only had four starts and is open to any amount of improvement. She will like it if they go hard as she will look to come right over the top of them. Her second over track and trip on penultimate start would be enough to take this out so she is a strong fancy. Of the rest Playing Red let supporters down a bit last time but is better than that and going back up in trip will help her. She should be thereabouts. It’s quite a good race as Indominus is also worth noting if she is fit enough. Still hard to get away from the fav who has obvious claims.
