THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT MORPHETTVILLE ON SATURDAY MORNING!
Race 2 Morphettville 2.36 Zoushine (5/6)
Good looking chestnut filly who caught the eye when second on return at Ballarat, bumping into a smart horse; not disgraced in a much better race last time; more to come now and this looks a great chance on paper.
The Aussie NAP is still chasing a double after it was scratched last night. We head to Morphettville and ZOUSHINE should have too much for her rivals in Race 2 on the card. She ran a big race on return before not being beaten far in a good race latest. She remains open to improvement and won’t get many better chances to make the breakthrough. Daily Spirit is the closest in the betting but she lacks experience and needs to show more on what we’ve seen so far. Outlaws Revenge is making his debut but hasn’t trialled in preparation and is entitled to need it. It’s 10/1 bar those mentioned and nothing else really makes appeal. Massive chance for the fav to open her account.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT DOOMBEN ON SATURDAY!
Race 4 Doomben 4.03 Paniagua (7/4)
Smart type who has won 7 of his 12 starts to date and looked to be getting better and better finishing off last campaign with a win before picking up where he left off at Cairns last month; did well to win that; can keep improving.
I’ve got to be with the in-form PANIAGUA here. This is a big field and he’ll need some luck in-running of course but he is flying right now and could be capable of even better yet. He has won 7 times from just 12 starts and looks thoroughly progressive. He is back up to a mile and is 2-2 over this trip so what’s not to like? Eschiele is the danger against him. This horse has tons of experience to draw upon and was denied just a nose when chasing a hat-trick last time. Big player off the back of recent form and isn’t taken lightly. Bar the front two it’s 9/1 the field and at a bigger price it wouldn’t surprise me if Rocco ran well. He is a consistent type and has knocked on the door the last twice. Good value to place.
