THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT SALE ON SUNDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Sale 5.30 Office Jim (15/8)
Useful type who won well on return at Kyneton in November; crowded at the start and had excuses when fourth at Bendigo last time and still looks on the upgrade; this looks a good bit of placement and should take the beating.
Sacred Legacy is progressive and has to be feared but I think OFFICE JIM will have these rivals covered. He looked a horse on the up winning on return and he didn’t get much luck when only fourth last time. He is still improving and with usual luck in-running should have too much for his rivals and record a third career victory. Crestani has only had 3 starts so should be capable of better. Definitely one to consider but I think the favourite sets a good standard. Creative Lad also has some useful form in the book but has a wide draw here which makes life tough for him. Going the right way though so may well be running on late in the day.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT BUNBURY ON SUNDAY!
Race 3 Bunbury 7.00 Galaga (5/2)
Improving sort who ran a cracker when beaten a neck last month; knocking firmly on the door and this looks easier so obvious chance of finally opening his account; should track the speed before getting first crack at them.
He’s had 10 attempts GALAGA but he has done little wrong and I’m willing to chance him in this company. He has knocked on the door lately and looks the most likely winner in this field. English Heritage is favourite but that actually surprises me as we have only seen her twice and she needs to improve to beat the selection. She is open to improvement but was well held last time so does need to bounce back somewhat albeit she wasn’t beaten far latest. Trisuem is consistent so will run her race but I doubt that will be good enough if the front pair run to form. It’s 5/1 bar those and while you couldn’t entirely rule any of them out in a race like this I’ll be surprised if any at big odds manage to land a blow.
