Exciting horse who has won 8 from 12 and just looks to be getting better and better; completed the hat-trick showing a great attitude to prevail by a nose here last month; 2-2 over this trip and big chance again.

The Aussie NAP can do no wrong! We made it 10 WINNERS FROM OUR LAST 11 last night and we’re not done yet. We head to Caulfield in the early hours of Saturday morning for our best bet Down Under and DEFIBRILLATE can bring up the four-timer for Patrick Payne and Billy Egan. This horse is just getting better and better and did well to win having been given a lot of ground to make up last time. He is unbeaten over this trip and ticks all the right boxes. Wolfe is the obvious danger as he will get first run. He has knocked on the door the last twice and has to be feared again but I think the favourite has the greater potential going forward and should be finishing better than anything.

Race 4 Ascot 6.18 Cuballing (6/4)

Likeable sort who has won 3 from 6 and improved to justify favouritism at Bunbury last month; should be hitting peak fitness now and with scope to progress again he should have too much for this field.

There looks to be plenty going for CUBALLING here and he can make it 4 wins from 7 starts. He just got too far back on resumption but hit the line strong. It was no surprise to see him take a big step forward to justify strong support last time and with further improvement on the cards now along with further fitness he is hard to oppose as he looks to record career number 4. He has a progressive look to his form and I’m happy to keep him on side for now. Don’s Legacy has 4 wins from 14 starts and is a handy type. He should run well and it wouldn’t surprise me if he shaped as the winner at one point but I think the favourite will have too much. Dark Mission gets the vote as best of the rest.
