Exciting filly who made a taking start winning impressively at Echuca last month, justifying good support in the process; know more now and well placed to make it a perfect 2 from 2; keep safe.

A big field for this which should ensure there is a good pace to aim at for the promising MAYBE THE BEST. She is open to improvement off that debut win and should make it 2-2 granted usual luck in running. She won in the style of a nice filly so I’ll be disappointed if she doesn’t remain unbeaten here. Lindhout is a decent mare and she should pick up the pieces for second spot. A Pinch Of Luck hasn’t been running badly and she is probably best of the rest. Ayahuasca scored on debut but struggled last time. Fitter now and she is one of the more interesting ones in terms of hitting the frame at a big price. Hard to be too confident about much else in here. A lot of dead wood.

Race 5 Gawler 6.00 Crypto Currency (11/8)

Promising sort who won as he liked at Murray Bridge on penultimate start; missed out by just a nose last time and couldn’t really be in better form right now; this easier and likely to take a lot of beating.

Sticking with the bang in form CRYPTO CURRENCY here. He already has 4 wins to his name and has won here before. He steps up in trip but that can help and if he runs his race he should have too much for this bunch. Exalted Fire has just 2 wins from 15 starts but probably should have won a few more than that and definitely enters calculations. Don’t Dismiss brings winning form to the table but needs more to trouble this fav who is unexposed in comparison. Monraaj just hasn’t been running well enough to win this so I’m happy to oppose and am quite surprised he is as short as he is. At the bigger prices Campobasso might go better than his odds suggest. Value for a place perhaps?
