Race 5 Belmont 7.25 Timely Outburst (10/11)

Progressive filly who has won 4 of her 6 starts to date and impressed last time always doing enough to prevail by a nose over 1200m here last month; form stacks up and more to come so should have too much for them.

It’s a bit of a wait for the Aussie NAP but hopefully worthwhile as we head to Belmont on Saturday morning. TIMELY OUTBURST will look to control this off the front and if she gets dictating the fractions I don’t see her beaten here. She will look to stack them up and then lengthen away and it’s hard to see anything else happening in all honesty. Her form is the best on offer and she promises to do even better yet. Jedi Mind is a good looking sort who has won 2 of his 6 starts. If the fav does disappoint for whatever reason he looks the one to pick up the pieces. Real Charisma is progressing nicely but this is a tough ask and she might just need a bit more time and experience to be seen to best effect.

Race 3 Rosehill 3.10 No Compromise (6/4)

Likeable type who looks to have turned a corner lately and arrives here chasing a hat-trick of wins; nicely on top last time and the step back up in trip only going to suit so everything in place to bring up the hat-trick.

We head to Rosehill overnight for our second best bet Down Under and NO COMPROMISE can make it three straight. He is only 4 wins from 15 starts but looks an improved individual lately and that was a career best last time. The extra yardage is firmly in his favour and he can go in again probably at the main expense of Admit It. The latter is also building a nice profile with 4 wins from 17 starts including 6 placed efforts. He should give the selection a race but might always be coming off second best. Kaapfever has also been knocking on the door and is unlikely to go down without a fight but he is exposed in comparison to the top two and especially the favourite.
