THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT MORUYA ON SUNDAY!

Race 5 Moruya 6.30 Hardy (1/1)

Created a big impression dominating rivals on debut to win impressively at Wagga when last seen in April; open to any amount of improvement and won a trial at Goulburn so should be spot on for this; clearly the one to beat.

The Aussie NAP was back in the winners enclosure overnight and we head to Moruya on Sunday morning as we bid to follow up. HARDY made a bright start winning easily on debut and he looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to make it a perfect 2-2 with Brodie Loy sticking in the saddle. He is sure to improve from that initial effort and it’s hard to see him beaten here. Princess De Roca made it 2 wins from 5 starts at Sapphire Coast last month and looks the most obvious threat to the favourite. She will need to improve though. Mittata won over C&D last time and that has to be seen as a positive but he’ll also need to find more to give the selection a race.

Race 8 Narromine 7.21 From The Bush (7/4)

Progressive sort who comes here chasing a hat-trick after backing up his Randwick win at Forbes last time; building a nice profile now with 5 wins from 11 starts and can do better again so lots to like; should justify favouritism.

With good pace on from Grass Cutter and Mackellar’s Love I’m just expecting FROM THE BUSH to tuck in early and with a target to aim at he should bring up the hat-trick. He has 5 wins and 3 places from 11 starts and is trending the right way for sure. He relished the step up to this trip last time and can go in again. Reward Seeker was a close second to the selection last time and looks the obvious threat again. Wild Rocket won here on penultimate start swooping from off the pace but couldn’t back that up behind the fav at Forbes last time so definitely needs to bounce back to have any sort of a say here. Mackellar’s Love looks quite a big price and she might be value to hit the frame.
