Race 2 Scone 4.00 Freedom Square (10/11)

Showed a good attitude to get his head back in front at Tamworth last time, running on well at the finish; unexposed over this trip and improving all the time so looks well placed to follow up with Bullock keeping the ride.

We head to Scone in the early hours of Friday morning for our best bet Down Under and the likeable FREEDOM SQUARE can win again and make it 3 from 8. He showed a good attitude to get up last time and with further progress to come he should prove hard to beat here. Aaron Bullock gets the leg up again which is another notable positive. Poseidon Ruler has won at this track and should have more to come over this trip so might be the main danger to the favourite. Barellan Bandit is 0 from 2 at this track but is proven over the distance so also has to enter calculations. Schiller’s Myst remains unexposed after just the 3 runs and could also run better than her current odds are suggesting.

Progressive sort who has landed back-to-back wins at Sale and Sandown on his last two starts and looks well placed to bring up the hat-trick now; unexposed over this trip with 1 win from 3 attempts; hard to oppose with more to come.

The hat-trick seeking THOUGHT OF THAT looks one to keep on side at Moonee Valley on Friday morning. He has turned a corner recently dominating the opposition the last twice. He will go hard off the front again and there won’t be any hiding places for the opposition. Skyman does look the danger but he has become frustrating. He let supporters down at Ballarat last time and has enough to prove coming into this against a horse at the top of his game in the shape of the selection. Irish Flame is respected on exposed form but the front pair should be too good for him especially given his last two runs which have been poor. Djukon best of the rest and might still have more to offer.
