THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT SCONE ON TUESDAY!
Race 1 Scone 2.50 On Bail (4/5)
Improving sort who left previous form behind to win well by a length at Wyong last time; can only build on that and looks to have found a good opportunity to follow up as this doesn’t look any tougher; keep firmly on side.
Nothing comes here in as good a form as ON BAIL and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t make it back-to-back wins. He impressed last time and won’t need much more than that to follow up. This is weak and he should push forward and look to gallop them into the ground over a trip that will suit him well. Jonah Tali is 0/7 but ran well when second to Port Of Jeddah last time. If he can build on that he may well fill the same position again but has enough to find to beat this favourite. Dobbin could only manage midfield at Tamworth last time but is probably better than that and should enjoy the step up in trip so is comfortably best of the rest. Hard to recommend anything else.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT GEELONG ON TUESDAY!
Race 7 Geelong 5.30 Seguso (13/8)
Useful type who goes well fresh and has been gelded since when last seen so reason to expect improvement now; well placed to get back to winning ways if rediscovering his best form; sure to go close against these.
This won’t take much winning so SEGUSO having been gelded could be a standout. He won in good style at Moonee Valley on just his second start and while beaten twice since this is much easier on his return. He goes well fresh and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t go close. Estoril Park is a decent yardstick who has been running to a consistent level so looks the danger. Fac also brings potential to the table but needs to put behind that Sandown run when he could only finish sixth. Video is unexposed so could also run well but probably needs more time and experience to be seen to best effect against some more forward types in here. Hard to see anything else getting involved at bigger prices.
