Race 6 Canterbury Park 5.15 Sword Point (5/4)

Good looking chestnut colt who has won 2 of his last 3 now and looks firmly on the upgrade; really impressed at Rosehill last time and clearly capable of better again; if he improves further he will have all these in trouble.

The Australian NAP is going great guns with another winner overnight. We head to Canterbury Park early on Thursday morning and SWORD POINT looks primed to win again. He blew them away last time and is clearly getting the hang of things now. This trip looks to suit him well and with more to come he can make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. Easy Campese looks the danger with Hennessy back in the saddle. He blew out last time but his previous form does stack up so I expect him to give the favourite a race at least. Casino Mondial is exposed in comparison to the front pair but also looks capable of getting involved if on a going day. Azarmin best of the rest but is 0/3 at this track.

Race 5 Pakenham 8.45 No Quarantine (11/10)

Likeable type who has knocked on the door the last twice and got caught wide before going down just a nose over track and trip last month; more to come for sure so very good chance of going one better now; worth keeping safe.

This doesn’t look the strongest of fields so it represents a great chance for NO QUARANTINE to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He missed by just a nose last time and a similar performance should suffice here. He got caught wide so will be hoping for a better trip and after just the 8 starts he is surely open to further improvement yet? Audrey Girl I guess is the danger to the favourite. She ran well when third at Moonee Valley and if building on that should run her race. Ceasar remains unexposed so if he stepped forward could also make his presence felt but does have enough to find on recent efforts. Live In Hope needs to bounce back but is still hard to recommend really.
