Shaped promisingly as a 2yo and improved to make a winning return at Hawkesbury last month, dictating throughout; sure to improve from that and if she does she will have all of these in trouble; one to keep safe.
The weather continues to affect racing Down Under so hopefully we actually get to see the NAP run on Friday. We head to Canberra where OTTILIE looks a good bet to follow up. She impressed on return last month and with added fitness now she should have too many gears for this field. She will be ridden aggressively again and if she can cope with a wide gate they might not see which way she goes. The extra distance can only be in her favour. In terms of a danger it is likely Calmer Karma has remains unexposed and can be forgiven that run at Newcastle last time. Spats Pav Bowie is also worthy of consideration but he will need more to spring an upset. Face The Day best of the remainder.

Race 8 Rockhampton 7.57 Wine Talks (6/4)
Good looking chestnut who left previous form behind to make a winning return and then followed up at Mackay last time, running on strongly from off the pace; can progress again so hat-trick surely beckons now.
On another day WINE TALKS could easily have been the NAP given how strongly I fancy him to come away with the prize here. He has progressive form and this should set up perfectly again. The hat-trick surely beckons and I want to keep him firmly on side. Grand De Lago is the likely danger but he is very much exposed in comparison and he’ll likely need to be at his best to hold off this progressive favourite. Habib looks nailed on to hit the frame but has to be vulnerable for win purposes. At the bigger prices All Native is a likeable mare who is 1/3 over this trip and has placed twice at this track from 3 attempts so could run better than her odds suggest but too much to find from a win perspective.
