THE AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT SANDOWN ON WEDNESDAY!

Race 8 Sandown 7.30 Visinari (4/5)

Good looking grey who won impressively by 7 lengths on return at Pakenham last month justifying strong support; scope for further improvement and looks well placed to follow up; one to keep firmly on side.

I’d advise jumping on early here as I can see VISINARI going off a really short price. He is clearly improving fast now judging by that easy win on return and with more to come he can follow up here. He will go forward and if he gets the fractions right is unlikely to come back to them. Marimenko has knocked on the door the last twice and has the form to land a blow here. It’s a big field but it lacks strength in depth. Adandiman impressed at Ararat but failed to back that up really at Sale last time so has enough to prove to spring an upset here. Maximus Prime has won 4 of his 10 starts and has placed 4 times as well so mega consistent and might be the value play to hit the frame.

Race 2 Warwick Farm 4.25 Democracy Manifest (11/8)

Promising type who has already won 2 from 5 and looks sure to relish this extra yardage; if he gets a good pace to run down not sure anything will be finishing as strong as him so worth keeping on side again.

I’m really confident on both of our best bets in Australia overnight and DEMOCRACY MANIFEST looks set to follow up that win here last month. He was nicely on top at the line and this extra yardage is only going to play to his strengths. He has gears and with 2 wins from his last 3 starts he is building a nice profile now. Excelladus also brings winning form to the table having struck over C&D last time and looks the most obvious danger off the back of that. Vivid Flash is yet to try this trip but has some good form in the book and might not be all that far away either. Rebel Shadow best of the rest having also won here last time but this looks tougher and he doesn’t always back up performances.
