THE AUSTRALIAN NAP IS STILL CHASING A HAT-TRICK ON FRIDAY MORNING!

Race 5 Geelong 5.55 Eterea (5/4)

Promising filly who showed encouragement last campaign and would have blown away the cobwebs on return over an inadequate trip when fifth at Ballarat; more to come as her stamina is drawn out; leading claims.

The Aussie NAP is still eyeing up a HAT-TRICK on Friday after it was scratched last night. We head to Geelong where ETEREA can get her day in the sun. This filly has only had 4 starts and she is sure to come into her own going up in trip now. She showed encouragement on return and with improvement to come she can get the better of this field. The Untacklabull is also unexposed after just the 3 starts so if he can improve he will emerge as the danger. Think French has had a few chances in comparison to the market principals so she is going to need them to disappoint if she is going to pick up the prize. Bar Kilronan perhaps the rest all look pretty limited and are hard to fancy.

Race 4 Albury 4.49 Mojo Music (13/8)

Likeable type who has been knocking hard on the door having finished runner-up on 3 of his last 4 starts; only reeled in late last time and with similar tactics likely to be applied here might not come back to them.

This looks a great chance for MOJO MUSIC to finally get back in the winners enclosure. He was denied less than a length at Wodonga last time and this slight drop back in trip (where his sole win came over) looks an ideal move. He is the class act in here and should burn them off. Gold Gift has a similar profile after striking on penultimate run. She was well held last time though and needs to bounce back to upset this favourite. Nan’s Obsession ran well when third at Corowa but turned in a bit of a stinker at Holbrook last time and has to be passed over here. Keith has only had the 6 starts so might be one at a bigger price to run well and is likely value to hit the frame. Not much else counts.
