Race 5 Sunshine Coast 5.51 Lesmurdie (11/10)

Promising sort who has come into his own since his stamina has been drawn out; impressed winning at Grafton before going down only narrowly latest; more to come for sure so can get firmly back on track here.

This looks a great opportunity for LESMURDIE to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He won head in chest at Grafton over this trip and was finishing strongly having been given a lot to do last time. With further improvement to come over this trip he gets a confident vote to resume his progression and get back to winning ways. Go Millo is a decent yardstick but he is 0/6 over this trip which has to be concerning and has only actually won 1 from 24. Winston Blue scored last time and has to be feared off the back of that. He failed to shine on only start over this distance though which definitely sways it towards the favourite. Stocked And Loaded best of the rest but enough to find.

Race 5 Hobart 5.24 Make A Decision (6/5)

Created a good impression winning on debut here back in the summer last year; very good reappearance run going down narrowly on return at Launceston; hard to oppose if building on that and looks to have a bright future.

Great chance for MAKE A DECISION to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He likes this track having won on debut here last year and that return run was very solid so with further improvement he should make it 2 wins from 3 starts. I’m Back has just the 1 win from 9 starts but at least that came over track and trip so he could still be the danger. Two Dollar Tom has been running well since winning at Launceston and is another one to note but likely needs more to spring an upset as the selection looks very solid. Banca Tom won last time but this looks much tougher so he is passed over on this occasion. Ransom Trust finished nearly last at Morphettville so a bounce back is definitely called for now.
