Race 5 Flemington 5.10 Passive Aggressive (6/4)

Unbeaten filly who impressed again here at the start of the month winning convincingly once more; remains open to further improvement and no surprise to see her make it four straight here; definitely one to keep safe.

Aussie tips were back overnight and we returned with a winning double! We head to Flemington overnight for our best bet and PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE can make it a perfect 4-4 for Grahame Begg and Jordan Childs. She is a thoroughly progressive filly who is just getting better and better with every run. She will race handy and should take all the beating once more. The danger is likely Star Patrol who is 2 from 3 over this trip and has to be taken seriously. He also looks a horse to keep an eye on going forward but might just be bumping into one here. Karacasu won at Murray Bridge last time but looks to lack the potential of the front pair. Still comfortably ahead of the rest.

Race 2 Ipswich 3.18 Indiscreetly (2/1)

Good looking filly who has won 3 from 4 and had excuses when finishing last at Gold Coast on final start as a 2yo; still retains plenty of potential and we know she fires well when fresh so hard to get away from here.

I think I’m happy to put a line through that last run from INDISCREETLY and prior to that she was 3-3. If she brings her best form she will have too much for this field and she could get even better yet as well. Hamlet Von Snitzel is a decent yardstick so he should give his running but he lacks the class of the favourite I think and will more than likely finish second. Subterranean is returning to form slowly but surely and might run better again here but still more than enough to find to spring the upset. Berdini’s Girl has won just twice from 15 starts so while she could run a place I’ll be surprised if she can lay a glove on the market principals. Minto’s Paradise best of the rest but needs more for sure.
