PLENTY TO GET STUCK INTO DOWN UNDER OVERNIGHT! Racing from Geelong, Canterbury Park, Eagle Farm, Gawler and Belmont. Overnight Double pays 10/3!

Race 6 Belmont 9.15 Etomorp (11/10)

Good looking sort who had been knocking on the door before winning convincingly at Pinjarra last month; can only improve on that now and looks to have found a good race to go and follow up here; keep safe.

I’m keen on ETOMORP to win again at Belmont on Wednesday morning. This horse caught the eye running on strongly from off the pace having been taken back from a wide gate on return. He only went down a length that day and the winner Positive Impact is a nice horse. He duly improved to win nicely last time and if he progresses again he should have too many gears for these rivals. Eldorado River ran well on penultimate start but didn’t really match that level last time and will likely need more to ruffle up this favourite. Patchwork retains potential and may prove a greater threat if building on that recent third. At a massive price Buckland might be a spot of value to run into a place.

Race 6 Geelong 6.20 Crackerjack Prince (11/10)

Caught the eye going close on reappearance and then confirmed that promise to win at Bendigo last month, nicely on top at the finish; more to come now so looks to have a big chance of following up; hard to oppose.

The improving CRACKERJACK PRINCE can win again at Geelong on Wednesday morning. He went down narrowly on return and quickly progressed again to win at Bendigo last time, doing it well at the finish. This looks winnable to me and I think he’ll justify favouritism. Deel Blaster has more experience on side and won at Cranbourne last time but this has more strength in depth. He can often get quite far back so if they go hard that would suit him but might be doing his best work when the selection has flown already. Carbonetti is open to further improvement after running well to finish third at Sandown last month. He is the other one likely to be in the mix late on here.
